To Flicka, with love.
Having had the privilege of knowing Flicka and learning from her has been one of the greatest gifts of my artistic journey.
Beyond her extraordinary voice and unforgettable interpretations, it is her warmth, kindness, generosity and wonderful sense of humour that make her so deeply special to me.
Flicka continues to inspire generations of singers, Mozartian and beyond, not only through her remarkable artistry, but through the authenticity, grace and humanity she brings to everything she does.
Dedicating the first edition of the International Mozart Academy to her is my way of celebrating an artist I admire beyond words and a person I hold incredibly dear. My hope is that every young musician who joins us will discover something of the joy, sincerity and generosity that make Flicka so extraordinary.
With all my love and admiration,
Fiò
