July 30th-August 8th 2026, Trieste (Italy)

Develop your artistry
Work with leading interpreters in baroque opera, gaining direct access to world-class expertise in historically informed performance. Our faculty members are internationally recognised for their mastery of baroque style, technique and interpretation, offering advanced training in period-specific vocal technique, ornamentation, gesture and performance practice. This immersive program provides tools to elevate technical precision, and equip participants to excel on the international baroque stage. To find out the details of our faculty 2026, request a copy of our opera studio brochure below!

Participate in a complete rehearsal process
Take part in daily rehearsals following the intensive structure of a professional production, from music calls, score study and blocking to the final dress-tech rehearsal. The process also includes costume fittings as well as hair and make up trials. Rehearsals (except the final dress-tech) will be held at the OperUs HQ at the new Trieste Campus, pictured above. This new rehearsal studio will allow young artists to block in a space which replicates the dimensions of the final performance stage. Participants will be able to access sports facilities, restaurant and bar services, swimming pool and wellness area through special discounted agreements.

Debut your role in a new, staged production
Often described as a “city of borders, cultures and ideas”, Trieste is proudly recognised as a leading Italian Capital of Culture. The opera will be presented as a fully staged production with harpsichord, with both rehearsals and the final performance held at A = 415. OperUs is proud to collaborate with the City of Trieste on this prestigious event, welcoming invited guests, cultural leaders and international industry decision makers. The final performance will also serve as an audition for OperUs’ new management roster, positioning this Opera Studio as a bridge between advanced training and professional engagement
